Lisa A. Greenlee is an author of literary fiction and poetry. She works in the fine arts, painting landscapes and florals in oils and watercolors.
Lisa is a nurse for nearly three decades, providing advocacy and care management to our geriatric population. She is previously published as a contributing author in The Life Care Management Handbook.

I started writing poetry and short stories as I edged gingerly into mid-life. And while I stand with my feet planted firmly on the ground, my head is typically in the clouds, daydreaming and concocting fanciful little anecdotes of life and love.
I believe in true love, the deep and soulful kind. And I believe we all have soulmates and forever friends just waiting to be found. I believe kindness is the best human quality, and I speak my truths through love and compassion.
Happiness is paramount in life and it's happening all around us, even on the darkest days. The smallest moments of joy add up to a multitude of blessings so treasure the little things in life.
"While I walk along the water's edge, little gems catch my eye, shining bright and polished smooth by the water rushing by. I collect them in my pocket, excited for each new find, some of them call out to me, and some I leave behind. My menagerie of pretty things, my treasure box, oh how it grew. But no stone I find as precious, none as delicate as you."
